Project Management:  Responsible for the organization and coordination of all types of land surveying projects.  Consultation with owners (private and government agencies), planners, engineers and contractors to ensure project goals are met.  Schedule field crews and office staff to meet deadlines.  Review data collection for completeness and accuracy.  Current with state-of-the-art surveying techniques and equipment to determine the most cost effective means to complete a project.  Current on surveying regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with local and state laws.

Boundary Surveying: Specializing in boundary and right-of-way retracement and re-establishing monuments, including public land system and metes and bounds descriptions.  Responsible for filing Land Survey Plats and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys that meets state and national guidelines.  Understanding of title problems and procedures of resolving discrepancies.  Responsible for all aspects of platting, from field data collection, research documentation and legal description preparation for the title transfers, annexation maps, subdivisions and resubdivisions.  Writing of new, research of existing easements, for access, utilities and other uses. 

Subdivision Design and Development:  Responsible for the procedures of residential land planning.  Coordinating of the boundary and topographic mapping for design.  Meeting with planners and developers on conceptual design through preliminary platting, annexation mapping and final platting.  Coordinating design of lot, tract and road layouts working with project engineers on infrastructure design.

Construction Surveying: Responsible for complete construction surveying for subdivision, site development, airport, bridge, overpasses and local, state and interstate highways.  Included the conversion from engineers and architects plans to stakeout data.  Also coordinating the field staff, equipment and scheduling for cost effective staking.
